CFC frames

Hard Felt Insulation Panels
Graphite hard felt is a stable and dimensionally consistent insulation material made from high-quality graphite fibers and a carbon-based binder. Through carbonization and graphitization, Schunk hard felt achieves a temperature resistance of up to 2,800 °C. This material is primarily used to produce self-supporting plates, hollow cylinders, and customized shapes according to customer specifications. Spezielle Formen in größeren Stückzahlen können zudem durch Stanzen gefertigt werden. Optional kann Weichfilz durch Gasphasen-Infiltration mit Kohlenstoff stabilisiert und in selbsttragende Strukturen verwandelt werden.
